Our overall policy, how refunds work, and how to reach us if something's not right.
By using Thryft, you agree to browse, message, and transact with stores, vendors, and market organizers respectfully and in good faith. Thryft is a discovery and connection platform — we help you find the secondhand scene near you, but individual stores, vendors, and market owners are responsible for their own listings, inventory, and in-person transactions.
We ask everyone on Thryft — shoppers, store owners, vendors, and market owners alike — to keep their profiles accurate and their interactions honest. Misrepresentation, harassment, or fraudulent listings may result in removal from the app.
Effective June 1, 2026 · Version 1.0
This policy governs refunds for vendor booth space payments processed through Thryft. All payments are processed by Stripe and refunded to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
If a market owner cancels an event
All paid vendors receive a full refund automatically, including Thryft's platform fee. The market owner's payout for that event becomes $0.00.
If a market owner removes an approved vendor
That vendor receives a full refund. Thryft may suspend market owner accounts that repeatedly remove vendors post-payment.
If a vendor cancels their own booking
7+ days before the event: full refund, platform fee included. 2–6 days before: 50% refund, platform fee not refunded. Within 48 hours: no refund.
Disputes
Contact Thryft support within 14 days of the event date to request a review — Thryft responds within 2–3 business days and may issue refunds outside this policy at its discretion in exceptional circumstances.
