We spent years chasing stores and pop-ups across Austin — so we built the app we always wished existed.
It started the way most good things do — with a problem we kept running into ourselves.
We're Texas A&M graduates and born-and-raised Austinites who started Thryft in 2024. Between us, we'd spent years digging through racks across Texas, chasing pop-up markets we only heard about by accident, and bookmarking vintage shops across five different apps and a dozen Instagram pages.
The vintage scene was thriving — it was just invisible. There was no single place to see what was near you, what was open, or what was happening this weekend. So we built one.
The hunt just got a whole lot easier.
Thryft brings the whole secondhand community — stores, vendors, and markets — into one app. Retro treasures, rare collectibles, sustainable finds. What started in Austin is growing into a nationwide community of thrifters, and we're just getting started.
Thrifting runs on people — the shop owners, the vendors, the shoppers. We build for all of them.
Secondhand is the original circular economy. Every find is one less thing made new.
No clutter, no noise. Just the stores, markets, and vendors near you — easy to find.
